For Window's XP, I Believe that it should be here:

C:\Documents and Settings\[USER_NAME]\Local Settings\Temp

where Local Settings is Hidden by default.

I believe you cant acess the files in Firefoxs cache... they are weird files like D151A0C8d01

They are under users, your user, application data, mozilla, firefox, profiles etc until you hit the folder called Cache thats where ull find em

Yeah, no point as each site has it's own compressed cache file :/

they're not compressed

they simply have weird file names without the proper file endings i.e .jpg or whatever

If you have some idea what size the file you're looking for is then just simply rename the file in the cache and you should be able to open it.

When I access the area using Linux, the auto preview feature of Nautilus (basically a Linux windows explorer) shows me all the cache data which would include the sigs, avatars, and other misc items from QJ and other websites.

Try viewing the folder as thumbnails that may help.

Type "about:cache" in the address bar.. it will tell you where it is stored for your profile and you can even view content.
