Try using Adblock / Adblock Plus for Firefox. It's an addon/extension.

Edit: Just tried it and it works.

Just tried it.

Here's how I did it. Press the "Adblock" button on your Firefox status bar, choose all the ones that show as "Embed" under "Node Name(s)" and block them. Voila! Flash ads gone.

I tested it on Yahoo! also.

Congratualtions on posting a screenshot of a huge torrent site, and further congratulations to the mod who helped the user and did not even remove the image or anything I really thought, I really did, that QJ would at least enforce the simplest rules, apparently not...

But did this mod happen to help with Torrents? No!

The question was "How to remove Flash ads" and it was promptly answered.

Not unless you make the upload a decent amount yet still higher than what you can 'really' do.

No this thread didnt have to do with torrents, but it directly showed the link to a torrent website, read the sites rules for gods sake, your a moderator right?

Not all torrents are illegal. Check out Linux ones for God's sake.

I can't believe that torrents are still stuck with that WAREZ stigma. Come on, it's just like any other peer to peer. There is legal stuff on there. Evil is in the user, not the program.

Yes we do, please look at the top of the screenshot, you know, in the part where you type in a web adress....And it doesnt matter anyway, does this mean i can link to psp*crazy just becasue somewhere in the depths of their forum there might be a copy of linux floating around, does this mean I can link to any torrent site, just because there might be a couple leagl files, jeez, use your head, its giving you the link directly to the torrent site where ILLEGAL MATERIAL CAN BE FOUND

Seriously, Qj moderators Im disapointed

I said the actual link. Not webpage.

For all we know, that could be another ad.

OMG, it's a TV show. The line between sharing and stealing recorded tv shows is super thin.
