Default Is this hard drive still usable?

I have a 80GB hard drive from a friends computer, the problem is, when i format it, it gets stuck at 50%, and never finishes, if I go to do a quick format though, it works, and I can put stuff on it and everything, so would you say its still usable?

If you can put stuff on it, hell yeah it's usable. Functional, that's debatable.

I wouldn't recommend putting all ur most important files or p0rn
on that drive or it might get messed up and u lose
everything or make a back up of the important files.

Eh, its too late, I chucked it, I was planning on using it as a bigger hard drive for my xbox, but I thought about how it would create partitions, and if one of those bad partitions was in the bad sector, then bye-bye xbox stuff, it doesnt really matter, I'll just buy a cheap 20GB one or something
