isn't there a dual boot loader kinda thing? just choose the partitions and it sets them as whatever, or do it manually by going into My Computer (right click properties) and then advanced on something and entering a path for the partition? Not recommended btw.

When I installed SuSe on my computer, it put a boot loader on that allowed me to select the partition to boot off of.
When you install Linux, it will ask you about the partitions, and then it should install a boot loader, but look at the documentation first to make sure. |

Rather than linking, I'll let you know. It does have its own boot loader, grub. It is very powerful and fast, but is text only. It automatically selects Kubuntu at start up if you don't press any key in the first 10 seconds of the countdown. Besides that you're ok. IF you want an external one that runs through windows, I say Acronis OS Selector. Its a little slow to load, but has GUI and has no countdowns or any of the nonsense that a lot of others have. (Although GUI is a bit of nonsense in itself...)
