Partition Tables

This is a discussion on Partition Tables within the Everything Windows forums, part of the General PC Forums category; If the partition tables get corrupted can they be restored or does windows have to be reinstalled?...

If the partition tables get corrupted can they be restored or does windows have to be reinstalled?

You can get them restored. Mine got screwed a while back. Just Google partition table recovery. I was editing them and deleted 1 by accident. I thought i lost all my data. I used a program to restore the tables and it works like a charm.
