As you may know Windows Vista is coming out next week, on the 30th! Are you going to upgrade? I'm upgrading right away! I'm going to get the Home Premium edition.

If required, I'll probably dual boot to it and use it for DX10 games.
Otherwise I'll stick with Windows XP until Vista becomes stable and runs games at full speed.

I don't see the big deal with it.

I agree there's nothing really that good with it it just looks better.

I would've "downloaded" Vista, but Microsoft could easily do something to stop the crack and therefore your OS wouldn't work, so that's why I'm buying it.

I have to agree with the fact that Vista isn't much. The only things I've noticed that actually effect my daily use, is the fact that every installation needs verification and that it looks WAY better. The RTM has been around for a while, and I have it, but it's really not like I'm gonna be at BestBuy, masturbating while watching them bring in the Windows boxes. I can wait a year.

Nope. Just sticking with Windows Xp Pro. for the mean time. I will eventually upgrade but not anytime soon.

I won at a giveaway so I am getting a free copy of Ultimate on Jan 30th.
I didn't win Office 2007, which I prefer more.
I am going to wait for benchmarks on games to come out before jumping on Vista. nVidia drivers are getting better so it wont take long.

I'll wait a while. I've been offered a copy at work but I don't intend on making the jump any time soon. I don't have DX10 gfx card so DX10 games are useless to me. Plus I'd rather have the Ultimate edition (the one from work will be Business).
