im back with more problems.
well, i installed windows vista ultimate (legaly) and its starting to piss me off.

1.wheres my music? it says to go to my music its a shortcut and i dont have security privlages!

2. video runs slow and choppy. wtf micro? i thought this was the os for entertainment?

3.my other moniter wont connect to my laptop.

4. it managed to fix one problem with the dock where it wouldnt recognize the cd drive when u boot it up in the dock.

5.its pretty tho...

help if you can.

and im considering reverting back to xp.

EDIT: relized i spelled vista wrong...lol

update: i fixed the problems except the music one...any ideas?

btw i have a dell inspiron 8500 512ram and mobile radeon 9000 graphics card.

and i know i dont have acces to the 3d and aero crap.

i also had my dad look at it and the music cant be found at all... but ive stil got space being taken up im pretty sure.

the music problem was fixed!

it was in a weird system folder called $INPLACE.~TR
