isn't it 64bit windows? not pc?... i dont really know i just remember seeing a 64bit windows version.

As far as whether or not your processor supports 64bit architecture, almost all Pentium D chips do, but you might want to double check with your specific model (there are like one or two that don't). Also, I'm not sure if this is a problem with Windows, but on Linux, you may have a harder time finding 64bit drivers, which is why quite a few people will recommend just going with the 32bit version of whatever OS you're using. There aren't many programs that support 64bit architecture yet anyways. |

64 bit only makes a real difference if you have more than 3Gb of RAM. Since you are also asking questions about Vista, I'm assuming you want to find out which version to install. My advice is go with 32 bit as the drivers don't have to be signed to run. This increases the chance that older hardware will work on the 32bit version of vista.
