Ubuntu 7.04, Never really changed the way it looks so it's not really worth posting.
if its' a bmp, then just convert it to png.
OK, now it's only 684KB.
Well I got litestep, awesome...but random programs just froze..
I was only having that theme for 3 days, now it's the normal Windows XP until I find a theme I like.
Except that that dock appears when the the cursor is at the top of the screen, now the dock is at the top.

The best bet is to visit customize.org
I got a nice one called elements. I tried to get GAIA working, and it screwed it up so I had to go back to elemtal
also, how do I make it so that my windows dont look like the blue XP style?
Install a uxtheme.dll patch, then go to the xp themes section of customize.org.
You'll find at least 50+ quality themes there.
Is lite step a linux type thing? Or just a theme thing?

It's like an alternate shell. It replaces the explorer.exe file, and becomes the main shell. It's also very versatile and skinnable.

Looking good dude. Now you just need to further define it. A nice woodpattern or grayscale wallpaper would make it look a bit better, along with a new Firefox theme.
Is there any way to get back to the normal windows explorer if needed or wanted?

A shortcut to make explorer the main shell is put onto your desktop for easy access
