Foobar is a music player that uses very little resources and is very good. It's what i use and what quite a few people i know use.

As PSP_bling said, it plays music. You have to know how to write code though since the whole interface is made using a special script called tagz.
It uses very little resoruces. With album art displayed it uses about 7Mb of memory while playing music and only 5Mb when showing lyrics.
