i need help my PC isnt Working . btw im using my psp to get here. i get an error saying that there is an error validating the product key. the error is something like 0x888963 notsure
please help

First of all, an error code means nothing unless you know the exact number. What OS are you trying to run?

you have a pirated copy of windows..and u didnt run the validater hack

it was sold to me not knowing it was pirated (the
wholepc). im using windows the error is 0x80004005 .

take it to the person you bought it off and complain, when you get bored complaining to yourself you can go reinstall windows.

What brand of computer is it? Some brands such as Dell and Sony don't allow you to install a clean copy of Windows, you need brand-specific CDs. But to format and install a clean copy, Put an XP cd in the drive, restart the comp, and when it says "hit any key to boot from CD" do just that. Then when that boots up, delete all the partitions on the comp, and install XP. Yes, formatting will delete the current copy of XP, but the copy that's on there doesnt work anyway. The code you're getting is on a WinXP "Blue Screen of Death".

Turn on your PC and put in your XP CD in your CD Drive of your PC and Restart it (PC). Then Press F8 and select your drive that your CD is in. Follow on screen Instructions.
Even if you have a Non Genuine Serial Key during the install of Windows it doesnt Recognize that its not Genuine and just continues. It Recognizes it when your installing a program such as Internet Explorer 7.
