I hate this program, it never works it installs, i double click the icon and i get

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the program.

wtf is wrong? i havent a clue. Please help

Do you by any chance have SonicStage or any other Sony stuff on your PC? (MP3 Players etc.)

I have sonicstage and windows live messenger installs fine for me

If you have SonicStage Mastering Studio Audio Filter on your PC and it cause conflicts with Windows Live then you can remove it and it should solve the problem.

I doubt it is that if it just showed up out of nowhere, it would have happened right after one was installed...

Try this directly from Microsoft Help...

they apply in no way to xp and btw my laptop is a vaio and i do have sonicstage installed. Ill try and give feedback

Like I said, uninstalling SonicStage Mastering Studio Audio Filter should do it.

theres no uninstallation icon can i remove from control panel ?

Yes. Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs

And besides, look. It's your exact error code. Don't just dismiss it because YOU assume its not the problem. You are asking us, right?

vaio laptops are too expensive, i fink they are a con you should just buy a much better laptop for less than half the price
