Default Have a good ping while downloading with P2P?

Hia guys, whenever I use Shareaza or any other P2P and download something with it and then go on CSS it always makes my ping like 700.
Can I do soemthing to at least maintain under 170ms ping?

Limit how much data your P2P client sends at once.

Some routers have something built in called QoS or Quality of Service. It will let you give priority to some applications automatically.
D links range of gaming routers do this and they definately do work, although they are a bit expensive. If you get a router that can use DD WRT firmware then you can set it up easily too.

Yeah, I wouldn't either, but its something to consider when making another purchase. Just limiting the speed will be fine, but remember to unchange it when you are idling.

Hmm, I was thinking of buying a Router anyway so maybe when I get the money I will invest in one, thanks POD.

Ping. It's how long in MS it takes for data to get from the client to the server and back to the client. I think.

Absolutely. Ping of 0 would mean you were the server. Ping gets higher the further you are away from the server, too.
