Anyway to record tv without commericals? And I set it up so it would record a show while I was at work. It recorded the show but it also recorded some of the show that came on before it anyway to stop that from happening? I want to put the shows I record on my zune but dont want it to have commericals or record stuff I dont want.

Urza posted a nice one, but are you using the real MCE Media Player? There are much improved "clones" like GBPVR (nasty skin, but you can get some nice ones) and Media Portal (an almost exact replica but with additions) both of which allow plugins and other cool stuff. If you use GBPVR, there is a Comskip plugin that will erase commercials as it records so you don't have to wait afterwards.

DRMtoolbox uses the same analyzer (comskip) but only is avaible afterwards.
