Default Utorrent vs Azureus

What do you think is better Utorrent or Azureus for torrenting ?

Utorrent is a lightweight torrent client that if fully functional. I have provided a download if you wish to try it. You do not need to install the program as it is a standalone program.

I just recently switched to utorrent from Azureus so far I like it. It seems I get faster downloads but the jury is still out only because Azureus has some features I like for example you can update the tracker with a mouse click I havent figured it out how to do it with utorrent if it's even possible

uTorrent is definitely my favorite. Lightweight, fast and has nice features and options. What more do you want?

I like Azureus more because it is platform independent. So that all operating systems that support the JVM can use this program. This means users have freedom to use whatever operating system they want. Utorrent afaik is only a win32 application and I dont feel like booting in Windows anymore.

i have reason the believe the link he posted as the utorrent download is a virus:
file size of the exe inside it is around 465 kb

actual dl of it is 646 kb

also the stand alone which he claims this to be is 170 kb so this is not the original file from utorrent

also this user had recently posted a virus in another thread

Let's try get this back ontopic. I've deleted a few posts.

I personally use uTorrent, but I don't use it very often so I haven't been bothered to change it. On Linux I prefer kTorrent or uTorrent under Wine. I put Azureus on a friends Macbook, it is probably the best for a Mac.

I'm not too sure about switching to Azureus. I've heared its a lot better now compared to around 6 months ago, but I use it so rarely that it doesn't justify me trying to compare 2 bits of software.

uTorrent is besstt.

Also, slightly OT, but you're online so I'm gonna try and get away with it:

What's the closest version of Linux to Windows? I want to switch, but I fear command lines and text based stuff.
