This utility for windows can reorder the games in PSP/GAME, PSP/GAME150, PSP/GAME340, ISO.

The only thing I added to this was the support for GAME340.

Is there a way to obtain the same effect manually? what does it edit and where? The order of things does annoy me quite a bit and i can't see any method to the madness, at first, newer stuff was at the top, now things are just everywhere.

The PSP orders them by file information. Specifically, the date/time the file was written to your PSP. The newest will always appear at the top of your list. You can actually use PSP Filer to edit this information, and reorder your games, music ect on the fly

Ahh, i noticed the option to edit info in Filer, so all i need to do is fake their date/time? I think i'll edit them all to my birthday and make it simple by having them go from 00:00 onwards in 1 minute increments for order. Would that work?

I believe it's the date and time of the homebrew's folder, not the executable.
