Here is the new updated version of LuaStation!
Samy (aka Gogy) has taken Lua programming, directly on your PSP, to the next level. If you remember, LuaStation evolved from the work of LuaProg. (Novservant and Sabbator) I translated it into an English release, and helped with debugging. Both French and English versions: LuaStation1.3 Many new features have been added or updated in version 1.3.
The screenshots are of the French version: Spoiler for Screenshots:

I have a question. I'm on 3.80 M33-5 and the only Lua Player that I can load up fine is LuaPlayerHM5 (in my GAME folder) and I created an Applications folder in the Lua Player directory and I placed the LuaStation files in it and I keep getting an error when I start up the Lua Player. Telling me unable to locate Applications/INDEX.LUA. And I check and it's there...Can someone help me please
I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. |

to halokilla77:
Could you give the exact error message please? And before trying to correct anything you shoud try to download another time the package since there was an issue at the beginning with the english version (it was my fault). Now all is in the right way to ifiwere1337: i'll see what i can do |

Just to make sure, does your directory structure look like this: ? PSP\GAME\LuaPlayer\Applic ations\Lowser ^^^ (with no space in Applications) I got LuaPlayer HM6 to work fine on mine with this as well. do you have a slim or phat? |

I did re-download the package and noticed the size was different so I used the one I re-downloaded and now I don't get an error. But still unable to see my application "LuaStation" on the LuaPlayer screen. Quote:
yes my directory structure is like this and I currently have the phat: PSP/GAME/LuaPlayerHM5/Applications/Lowser/ I no longer get an error when I start up LuaPlayerHM 5, but all I see is the following text (links): LuaPlayer HM Wifi Tester
press Triangle for Wifi Testpress Square for Ad-Hoc Test press Circle for LuaPlayer Version press Start to exit LuaPlayer HM and then right in the middle of screen is a floating spinning cube. So I don't see my application file (Lowser). Is what I'm seeing the shell? All this is new to me so I'm learning as I go so thanks for being patient with me. I really want to play with LuaStation and try and start some beginner lua programming. ![]() Thanks to all of you for all your help I greatly appreciate it. |

to ifiwere1337:
check this version, you just have to replace the 2 files of this archive and it should work with the sony osk. Howewer be aware that i made it in more or less 5 minutes, so it can reveals itself to be buggy. Note 1: the appartition of the sony osk is a bit slow note2: for the search function you cannot use it directly: -first write the expression you are looking for directely in your script -copy it -(delete it if you want) -and then in the search function paste it by pressing select note 3: special caracteres can't be displayed in lua so you will have funny caracteres instead note 4: you must use the luaplayer hm 6 so thank to pickat and homemister (and romero126 who explain how to use System.startOSK()) Download modified version to halokilla77: in fact i think you miss a step in the use of lua: first you need to download an official version of luaPlayer (i advice you the 0.20) and you install this one in your folder GAME or GAME3XX Then, in order to use the LuaplayerHM, you download it whatever the version (even if the latest is recommended) and you replace the file that are given (generally you just have to replace the eboot.pbp file in the folder Luaplayer) Finally to use Luastation you need to extract the version (french or english) in the folder application of the Luaplayer. You must choose to erase all existing files in the lowser folder. At this step you can fully use lua directly on psp. You just have to run The Luastation icon in the xmb. You'll be in the shell (named lowser) and you wan launch script by pressing cross when the cursor is on it, or edit it by pressing square. |

Gogy thanks for the reply...here's the latest
I got the LuaPlayer v0.20 folders (luaplayer & luaplayer%) placed in the GAME folder. When I start the program I get the following message: The game could not be started. (8002014C) And I'm currently running 3.80 M33-5 and I have my GAME folder homebrew set at 3.80 Kernel. Any thoughts are to why v0.20 is not working on my phat PSP? Thanks again for your post on explaining the step I had missed. |
