Default [RELEASE] Multi boot loader by BOOSTER

Just stumbled across this.
Booster is at it again !!

From the readme:

Quote:

--------------------------------------
What is it?

This is IPL to support "JigKick Battery" of PANDORA'S BATTERY.
It can start up the FAT file which was chosen at the button.
And , it includes a normal boot function.

It will not need mspformat with most case.

--------------------------------------
How to install.

1.Double click "install_psp_ms_multi_loa der_ipl.cmd" on Windows2K/XP (admin).
2.Connect MsProDuo to PC via USB MemoryReaderWriter(or PSP).
3.Press 'Y' for "Are You Sure ?[Y]" message to install the IPL to MsProDuo.

--------------------------------------
How to use.

1.Copy bootfile to "ms0:/ipl/ipl_xxx.bin" of MsProDuo which installed MultiLoader.
(see "RECOVERY_LOADER/readme.txt" to boot padnora's "Magic Memory Stick")

2.Power off the PSP.

3.Hold LTRG and allow key to select boot file,or LTRG off to normal boot.
LTRG+UP -> load/run "ms0:/ipl/ipl_up.bin"
LTRG+LEFT -> load/run "ms0:/ipl/ipl_lt.bin"
LTRG+RIGHT -> load/run "ms0:/ipl/ipl_rt.bin"
LTRG+DOWN -> load/run "ms0:/ipl/ipl_dn.bin"
LTRG -> load/run "ms0:/ipl/ipl.bin"
other -> normal boot from internal NAND flash.

4.Insert "JigKick Battery".

The MS and WLAN LED are flashing when boot file are missing or boot error.
File is attached.

If the memory stick inserted isn't one that's been prepared (or there just isn't a MS inserted) does it just boot normally?

Nope, as the battery forces the psp to check the memstick to boot. No memstick, no boot.
This app adds some files to the stick so it needs to be prepared.

If all you're looking for is a Normal PSP Boot and a Pandora Boot here what to do:

1. Install MS Multi Boot Loader
2. Take Pandora Boot file ms0:/ms_ipl.bin move/rename it to ms0:/ipl/150ex.bin. You can find Pandora Boot file in the Pandora Battery Package.
3. Take pspboot.bin in the RECOVER_LOADER folder and move/rename it to ms0:/ipl/ipl.bin

And that's all there's too it. I read this somewhere else and it seems to make more sense. I'm lost as to what LTRG is though, L-Left Trigger, T-Triangle, R-Right Trigger, G-????? What the hell is G?

But Holding LTRG while booting the PSP should take you to the Pandora Screen. Not holding anything at all will take you to normal boot.
