I have had some weird issues.
Firstly when you were told all the things you can do with girlfriends it took incredibly long to load each 5 second cutscene.
I have also seen some pop-in during a cutscene. A guy in a van was talking to midair, then as soon as Niko was supposed to talk he just appeared there.
omg. It looks like im going to have a long argument typ thing with my parents on why I should be allowed to buy this game. ****. I cant beleive that they think im going to treat the game like something real.
This game deserves my sauce.

Without the guide this game will take me at lest 1 year to complete.

Well ... There is a difference . I have both version and play 5 hours on each.( i got the x360 version first than ps3 one). I can tell you that the resolution of the texture on ps3 is way higher than x360. If you have an HDTV the ps3 will give you more sharpness. THe shadows is less jaggy on ps3 and the indoor environment is clearer.
The x360 have better framerate and AA. It's also have less draw distance nd more pop-ups. The game freeze like the ps3 one. Cache memory maybe ?
I found it completely the opposite, the PS3 version has a very slight blur on everything from the upscaling while the 360 one is sharper.Zitat:

I know it's a hard one. I'm not totally disagree with you. But don't forget that the x360 as a better far draw distance effect then ps3. It's in an interactive context, that is why it is different. Even though it's minimal interaction. Think of it as you are the guy doing the violence/nudity in the movie, your parents would be happy if it was you in that movie now would they?Zitat:

My turn to lol at you - it was my roomate that was playing it ;) It his brother's game and he brought it up a few weeks ago to play it on my 360. Got it yesterday at 11:00 but between updating my system, installing the game, and playing with the brightness setting, I only put in a half hour before going to school today. I can not for the life of me understand the Wal Mart near my house. I got carded for Killzone Liberation(yes its rated T) but did not for God of War or GTA IV. They did however have plenty in stock for that late at night which surprised me. Small town and not a lot of ps3 owners so I did not expect diiffuculty, but I did not think they would have stacks of it.
Initial impresions: Driving sucks. Perhaps not the actual driving but the camera while driving. Whenever I go into a turn the camera is on my bumper, and it always goes back after 3-4 secs of driving. Pain in the butt. Other than that its good. Need to play more and get used to the camera before I enjoy it more.
If you don't like that, turn off the handbrake cam.

Nice, most parents don't care, they know their kids. It's the 40 year old single women that are losing it. When I brought it to my brother in school, all the boys made a big deal and the teacher is like IS THAT....IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?! You'd think I walked in with the mark of the beast on my forehead.
Yeah, my mum actually purchased the game for me herself. Even though i'm quite young for it.
Anyway, i'm loving this game. Though, i am getting a feeling of disappointment every time i see jaggies or bad cutscenes. But that totally wiped away when i hear the scripts of the cutscenes. Pure genius.
Yeah the cutscenes have a few issues, but none compares to how bad Halo 3's cutscenes were.Zitat:

Silly me...
I was lucky, my brother is 18 and he brought it but I can play on it :D. My mum says that I can play on it but if I get violent then I can't (kinda silly in theory as I'll get more violent) and I would be banned from my brothers room, which holds our mighty PS3 and his 360. He got it for 360 BTW mainly for multiplayer as he's paying for it why not use it. I might ask to pikey the months free trial and use it in conjunction with the intial month free. :D
