I have to say I agree, also with brake turning you can't seem to turn enough. Generally, I turn by tapping the handbrake.Zitat:

Actually I am a licensed driver in real life for your information.Zitat:

What would be nice for Rockstar to update on the game, is like a turning radius setting in the menu or something. Or something along the lines or Under steering and Over steering settings.
I thought you said you were 16?Zitat:

Almost 17. Lets get back on topic. The driving is hard period, I might try the hand brake tapping method. Currently my little brothers playing.Zitat:
Zitat von Moose Island
moose in america they can drive when they are 16 in some states
unlike here in uk you have to be 17
Really? Do you turn an adult at the age of 18?Zitat:

Your 16 and your little brother's playing..Zitat:

Anyway, I like it
The controls are sticking in my head now, and I dont find the driving hard at all.
Ya the controls took a while to get used to. Seeing how they are much different then past GTA's I switched to the classic controls but I switched back to the newer ones.Zitat:

And I am almost 17, the legal age to buy the game any ways. And ya, My little 9 year old brother is playing. He gets what he wants, and anything, he wines to mommy and daddy is I lay a finger on him, I tried to convince them, and they just said, as long as he knows its only a game.
If you actually get used to the driving you can drive perfectly at high speeds, it's not a case of "handbrake turns too much, brake turns too little", you have to actually use both in certain ways depending on the situation.
It isn't hard.
I have to wait til june 22 (my birthday) for this game. Hopefully the wait is worth it. Does anyone know if you can get planes. I remeber reading a while back that r* had taken out planes for various reasons.
edit: turning in al GTA games has been tough. brake usually ends up in a less than 45 degree turn an the handbrake usually results in a 180
edit2: I find the best way to turn is to do a sort of question mark "?" while using the handbrake. So if turning left, you would quickly turn right, then use the handbrake to turn left. This usually offsets the overturning of the handbrake
No planes, but you can fly helicopters.
Hah, just visted the heart of the city with a friend.
Man my brother is further than me now.
I love this game, I'm also playing Eternal Sonata so it's great fun having two completely different yet amazing games.
Ok, I see that, but either way im going to see the violence/nudity, why should it matter what context its in? Im not gonna play GTA and think wow this guy is such a good role model, im gonna become a gangsta when I grow up. I honestly beleive that I am mature enough to be playing this game, ad hopefully my mom will realize that.Zitat:

Is anyone using cheats? I'm only using the weapon cheat...
Is anybody else having problems connecting to multiplayer on the PS3?
Yes.Zitat:

I used the weapon cheat a few times.Zitat:
Zitat von FullMetalCat
The only weapons you get are a baseball bat and a pistol with a few clips after like the first 10 missions.
I don't use cheats until after I complete the game (story mode).
I just went to my friends house and played it there. Damn its so fun! I only played up until the part where your fighting in the BBall court. I also played a private match with some friends, man I want the game more than ever now
Yea Im on that level too. After that mission you get to go out on a date.
Ya, I finished my 2nd or third date with Michelle, "Do you want to go in for some coffe?" lol Niko... :)Zitat:

The Gun cheat doesn't really ruin the game at all, just a little, makes some missions easier.
Has anyone found out how much GTA: IV has made so far? Money-Wise
I'm up to the first mission with Little Jacob. The game is so good. Especially multiplayer. And I love how you can get music you like through ZiT.
How does that work? Songs that you hear, you call the ZiT thing and what happens next?Zitat:

It was kinda funny how they had a fat stack of GTAIV copies at gamecrazy.
*hops on faggio*
You get a text message after you call ZiT, and if you have a Social Club account, the song you want will show up there. You'll be taken to an Amazon page to buy the song.Zitat:

Brucie is the best character ever.
Oh. I think its pretty weak about the Special Editions soundtrack, I would have prefered it to be an OST, with all the music and radio, like Vice City had.Zitat:
Zitat von xploren
With the Amazon partnership, R* would never do that.
Says so on Social Club and Wiki.Zitat:

What?
I told my mom, and she didnt seem to careZitat:

I like the 360 version because it has a sharper image.
Both versions rock just the 360 one seems a bit more eye-candy like.
Finally beat it.. Hows online play since I cant play online >.<
Zitat:
Zitat von androidkaita
I am on that part to.Beat the guys up no problem but when you have to chase the car I always mess up. On a turn I either take it to wide or to narrow and by the time I get back on there tail, its to late. Anyone have any advice?
EDIT: I tried to use the GPS by pressing right on the dpad(like they said) but that only changed the radio stations, idk what to do
Um just get used to the driving controls? It really isn't that difficult no offense.
None taken. I'll get it soon I am sure. Only tried twice before I did something elseZitat:

We have to get like a 16 player QJ free roam game going sometime. Seriously Nights and I were in some random one of those tonight and it was a freaking blast. This game is sooo amazing. At times I feel a bit disappointed, but then I would look at the clock and realize I'd been playing for the last several hours, so obviously it's managing to keep me hooked in anyways. There's just so much to do and all the little details put in are what make it truly amazing. Love it.
Mister Chief, where'd you get your gamerpic?
