The gunship level was about the most fun I've had playing a video game in a long time, as I said to DFS in my voice message.
This game is really, really, difficult playing through on Veteran for my first go.

The hardest difficulty is difficult?

Beat it! That was invigorating.

Machine gun in that level was very satisfying.
I opted for the middle/single shot weapon for a lot of my destruction mostly. The voice acting was so callous. "Ohhhh man, did you see that, pieces went everywhere!" (or something to that effect)Zitat:

So fun.

More so than previous installments. The enemy AI is no slouch in this game. If you camp an area for more than like 45 seconds, there will be multiple grenades lobbed within killing distance of you. Run in the open and two shots will kill you.Zitat:

I had a ***** of a time running into the barn that was being circled by a helicopter. (The one you shoot down with that high tech guided rocket.) It took me no less than 30 tries to make it to the checkpoint after you cleared the barn.
Imma' gettin' for both the 360 and PS3.
That's pointless. Have fun with that.Zitat:

I ****ing <3 CoD4. It's the best shooter I've played all year. **** Halo.
I'm playing it on normal, and I'm still getting my arse handed to me...
This game is shweet :D
As much as I hate to say it, DFS is really good at this game. We played last night for a few hours and routinely came in in the top three in kills per match.

Finally had some time to put this in the 360 and I went straight to MP. It certainly doesn't disappoint :D
I bought COD 4 today. just finished the campaign. i must say, that was one of the most thrilling experiences ive ever had..cant wait for assasin's creed now :P, now to fill my time COD 4 MP :P
I just finished watching some videos of the single player mode on this game... and it looks awesome.
DFS and I were dominating again last night. I got up to rank 25.
Well, you were dominating... And, I was... There... Doing... Something...Zitat:

I'm planning on picking up this game soon. Just one question, with one complete playthough of the single player, how many achievements do you get on average?

I'm playing through my first time on Veteran difficulty. I'm not done yet, but I have picked up 28 of 37 achievements so far for 690 G-points. When I am done, I will have all but three or four achievements and 920 G-points on one play through.
They are all very easy. I can go back and pick up the two achievements for getting enemy intel if I feel like it. I missed one for shooting TV's playing the dictator in one level. But you can go back and replay levels once completed at an easier difficulty.
Rogers video didnt have it for rent ;(
Just picked the game up yesterday (having played the beta it was an easy pick), played MP last night and got first in kills on the first two levels I played (then called it a night) and was at a KDR of 2.00, pretty surprised at how bad some people are even at higher ranks (and realizing how much of a disadvantage I'm at right now with my crappy gun and perks going against high ranks), can't wait to play it more online
I must pick up about 3-5 extra kills per match by using the martyrdom perk. As of right now, my main setup is:
M4 w/Red Dot Sight (Blue Tiger camo)
Perk1 - Special Grenades x3 (Flash)
Perk2 - Stopping Power
Perk 3 - Martyrdom
Damn, I really need to get some cash.
I really really really want to play it but at the moment only have a 20
:(
Why did I buy Halo 3?
You could trade in Halo 3. You'd still get quite a lot for it.Zitat:

Can't wait to get this from gamefly.
They sent me Jericho first.
I'm sort of bummed.
Game looks rockin.
I'm going for stealth, aka UAV jammer, I rarely get into close quater battles and when I do I quickly kill and get out - I've yet to die from Martydom onlineZitat:

I played a few matches with Sleight of Hand in my Perk 2 slot (Where UAV Jammer goes) and I was losing most battles because it took the place of Stopping Power. You may start to notice this the more you play online, I picked up on it pretty quick.
What's this Martyrdom?
Every time you are killed, you drop a live grenade.Zitat:
Zitat von Moose_Island
Wow, that would give some easy kills if you already wounded your opponent in battle.Zitat:
Zitat von Abe_Froeman
even if you don't, if they're close enough, a grenade will kill even a person with full health...Zitat:
Zitat von Moose_Island
I think I'm gonna add it to one of my lay outs...

I got my 100th kill with the dragonaouv, and got the acog. It's so freaking sweet. You don't shake everywhere after a shot and you can use it at close range.
My sniper set-up is:
Dragonauv with acog s
Perk1: rpgx2
Perk 2: Uv jammer
Perk 3: Iron lung
My main setup is:
M4 iwth acong and digi camo
Perk1: RPG
Perk2: Double tap
Perk3: Martyrdom
and I just got he aks74u, it's sweet.
Is it true the campaign in really only 4-6 hours!? I was contemplating getting this games, but if thats true, screw it. Multiplayer's great and all, but *sigh*...
Hell, on orange box, half life 2 took me upwards of 10 hours, and then each episode around 3-4 hours, still not counting portal either
Your loss.
The game is short, but it's easily game of the year... And I own both Halo 3 and The Orange Box...
