Im gonna have to at least try that new drum set to see if I like it or not.
Is there a release date for GH4?
Fall 2008

Just noticed the point at the bottom of the drum scan that says the drum kit will be wireless, that's a sweet plus.
It is a sweet plus if it comes with a battery pack. I am not spending money on batteries.Zitat:

Well no DLC I want may be coming out, but I just discovered guitar zero. It has to be the best thing ever. You can play it with your rockband controller, and it has thousands of songs available for download.
I have like 8 PTH songs, and the entire BTBAM album Colors, its amazing
Meh, I'm assuming it's similar to Frets on Fire? I'd rather just play the real deal personally. Plus I always manage to find some DLC I'll like. Waste loads of money on it each month haha. But the Euro track pack is made of pure win :) Can't wait.
Its a lot better than frets on fire, trust me. Especially after you get the GH3 mod
****! My gold subscription is expired. I am going to have to hold off.
Euro track pack on Tuesday, hells yes. Picking up 7 of the 9.
Seriously do yourself a favor and jet over to the Discussion thread to watch videos of all the songs. They're worth picking up for the most part, except for Les Wampas and Juli.Zitat:

Sweet, sounds good for today then. I'll be on probably a lot this afternoon, I should be getting my 4000 Microsoft points I've been waiting on this afternoon hopefully too, which means I'm buying the 7 songs I wanted from this weeks DLC :)

Oh and by the way, Beetlebum is insanely easy on drums. Just got 100% on expert drums on my sightread.
today and tommorrow plz
You're free today? I am as well but I work 4-10 tomorrow. Don't know what ever happened last night I was on, but we all never got together :(
I think rock band's better than guitar hero. :DZitat:

can anyone play today?
It's like 1230 in the morning. I get out of work at 7PM both nights this weekend though, so I can probably hop on sometime after that for a bit.

Ready to get your head spinning? This week are we really covering the spread. First we have a three pack of songs from Jimmy Buffett for $1.99 each (160 Microsoft Points) or $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points) for the pack. Jimmy Buffett rerecorded the three songs for exclusive use in Rock Band, turns out he really digs the game.
Also along for the ride this week is the long-awaited Disturbed three-pack of songs from their new album INDESTRUCTIBLE. Best Buy recently announced they are partnering with MTV Games and Hamonix to offer Disturbed fans the opportunity to download two free tracks from the band’s highly anticipated new album, INDESTRUCTIBLE. By pre-ordering the album at www.BestBuy.com/disturbed, fans will receive instructions to download title track “Indestructible” and “Inside The Fire” for Rock Band from Xbox Live. Both of those songs will also be available to all Rock Band owners on 360 and PS3 along with a third track from the album "Perfect Insanity". Each Disturbed track will be available for $.99 per track (80 Microsoft Points) for a limited time, or $2.99 (240 Microsoft Points) for the three pack.
Tracks are as Follows-
"Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Cheeseburger in Paradise" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Volcano" by Jimmy Buffett (master - new original recording)
"Indestructible" by Disturbed (master)
"Inside the Fire" by Disturbed (master)
"Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed (master)
Jimmy Buffett = wtf? Hell no.
Disturbed for half price on a pack I was already gonna buy anyways = hell ****ing yes.
android, I would, but both of them are boring :(
Considering I finished both in the Medium level only, I didn't bother trying after that cause it was kinda repetitive.
well its like 10pm where i live, so yeah lol
and by the sounds of those three disturbed songs i wont be getting them. The only one I would buy is down with the sickness.
actually indestructible dosnt sound that bad
What difficulty is evveryone playing GHIII?
I've completed easy, medium and hard, and I play on expert, with 4 songs left on career mode.
Expert is the most fun because you have to set your fingers on fire in order to hit the notes fast enough :p
I'm working on beating expert as well on GH3, but tier 7 is proving to be quite a ***** for me. If I just wanna have fun I tend to just play on hard, instead of playing that ridiculously overcharted expert mode.
I've got most songs 5 starred on expert besides Before I Forget and the final tier. And get 279k on TTFAF when using the No Fail cheat.
Cant beat Before I forget on expert, every time I paly i get to 97% and fail
I've never failed it. You just have to get used the fingering and how to alt-strum. Get that down you can at least 4-star it. I myself need about another 30k before I can 5-star it.
Its just the end thats hard, I can do almost everything else in the song easily
After reading the whole game informer article on GH4, its safe to say that I WANT IT REALLY BADLY NOW
I made my mom get me the issue with the GH4 article. And honestly I can't wait either. It seems like they have actually taken the time to make Rock Band look crappy. And the article especially talking about how they were sick of replaying the same songs just got me more excited.
I know, when I first heard they were adding drums and stuff i was like, wow there creative. But it seems they actually are. I CANNOT WAIT for the GHTunes online service, that sounds ****ing tight
I want it, but I'll have to wait and see how it actually turns out. Just like GH3 I have a feeling a lot of the promised features will be all talk and not that great in reality. GHTunes might be cool for a bit, but I don't really fancy playing a bunch of instrumental songs with what is likely to be a limited song editor in reality. I'll still pick the game up I'm sure, just not sure it's going to be the Rock Band killer everyone thinks it'll be, especially with talk of a Rock Band 2 right around the corner, that should be backwards compatible with both DLC and RB1 peripherals.
well yeah, but if its compatible with current RB instruments, you can jsut buy the disc... unless the new instruments are awesome or sumthin
It won't be compatible, except for the microphone. And the new drums do look cool, and I'm curious as to what the new guitar is going to be like.
I'm so going to buy GH4.
it just looks awesome.
If Rockband 2 is more then $150 then I wont buy it.
But yet you'll pay $200 for Gh4? Cause that makes a whole lot of sense...
i meant RB instruments compatuible with RB2Zitat:

I like the GH series alot though. I played Rockband and really never got into it. But GH, even GH2 is more fun than Rockband too me.Zitat:
Zitat von TeamOverload
Theirs like 2 songs on Rockband I like compared to the 50+ songs on GH2 and 40+ songs GH3 that I like.
