Smile What was your first gaming experience?

So what was your first gaming experience? That moment where you felt like you where a gamer. What System or game was it ? How old where you? stuff like that.

Mine as far I can remember was when I was about 3 and me and my family where going to visit my ants and uncles new house. I saw the Snes I turned on the snes and turned on the tv,I then started to play super Mario world with anyone even noticing while everyone charted it up. I beat the whole game with the later help of my uncle for some of the really hard levels near bowser and stuff keeping in mind that I was only 3 I saw it really sticks out in my mind as the moment I knew I be playing games for a long time. Sure it wasn't the first time I ever played a video game( my uncle even played Intellivision II with me when I was even younger) as well as my ant who played pacman with me all the time as well on the old nes but that first time I the snes was the most fun I has video game wise ever.

My first real gaming experience that I can remember is "Turtles in Time" for the SNES. I used to play it all the time with my cousin and took forever for us to beat it, but it was a awesome the day we did.

But what really got me into hardcore gaming was Chrono Trigger (splurge), Final Fantasy II(4) and Final Fantasy III(6).

Whenever I saw that my brother had rented those games I woke up really early to play them before him (couldn't stay up, stupid bedtime).

First gaming experience was probably when I was 3 or 4 playing Tetris on NES

But as for feeling like a real gamer? Like wanting to really beat a game and not just play a side scroller and play for a couple levels and then done? It had to more than likely be during the days of the Sega Genesis when I seriously got into Sonic Spinball..I never beat but I think I got to the last level...but I was determined... I think I was...7 at the time...

For me it was NES and I think the game was Double Dragon.
Then I got a SNES and got some mario games, a wrestling game, and some arcade titles.
The N64 came out but I only got Mario 64 for it as I hated the controller layout. Didnt play much games until I got a PS1 that was chipped so I could play burned games. I wanted to get a PS2 but instead got the Xbox and I played that til I got my 360.
Now all I play is my 360, my dad got a PS3 on launch but I never liked it so we just use it to play bluray.
Oh I got a PS2 slim about a year ago with about 30 games. I ended up selling it about a month later for $150

My first experience was when i was about 4-5, i had a nes & remember playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles :P.
Though a experience i can remember properly was on the N64, with classics like Mario64, GoldenEye & Banjo & kazzoie(i love this game!!). To this day, i still have all 3

You played Mario on a Atari game console... are you confused?

Anyway, Sonic 1 on the master system and marioland/tetris on the gameboy.

If you think thats ****, you should take a look at spiderman on the atari 2600.
Also to give more gaming knowlegde they actually re-done mariobros again, yeah so there's 3 versions on atari consoles. One on the 2600, another on the 5200 & the last on the 7800. Don't know what the differences are, i'm guessing better graphics.
I swear theres a clone of super mario bros. as well on a atari console?

I think I was 3 or 4, my bro just got a Playstation for Christmas with the games, Crash Bandicoot, NHL faceoff, MLB Pennant Fever, and like some golf game. He let me play a few days later, in which I played Crash Bandicoot, changed my life, still play the exact same game on the same system we got 12 years ago today.

btw i played a game when i was about 9 years old...i think its name is hero soccer...but it seems that i can't find it on the internet...i was addicted to it...every player has his own special shot and if the weather waqs rainy and stormy...the ball would be charged by lightning and when you shoot it towards the goal...if the goal keeper touched it his eyes will expand 5* hehe and he would be electrocuted...and then it is a goal!!! hehe man that was nice

Pong FTW.

I was like 10yrs old when my dad took me to Montgomery Wards to get a pong system, ran it on a 19inch B/W TV, I would play by myself if I couldn't get anyone else to play.

ohhh, when I was 6 or so, I went to my friends house and played Goldeneye 64 on his N64. Changed my whole perspective of life. I had no system of my own, since my parents didnt beleive in video games. Too this day I have been the sole purchaser of all my games and systems. Not true, my parents bought my Golf when i got my first GBP (Game Boy Pocket, and i think I own 6 of em now .in some tin can in my closet.)

But yeah, 007 was sick, back in the day. Still is. not many games have the fun and playability as that old 64 classic.

I wanna did out my N64, lol.
