too many games around?
Too many games around today, says BioWare
ray muzyka has commented that there are just way too many games being released nowadays. does that pose a problem for you as an avid gamer, or it doesn't really matter?
personally, i agree that there are too many games coming out in the market too soon. but that's just an inevitable outcome of the fast turnover of technology. i guess it also follows that it's also because there are too many platforms around to cater too that's why we have too many games.
at the end of the day, it's really just a matter of preference, anyway. which games are to your liking most, and which of them are you really willing to invest your money and time on. it's still quality that should win out over quantity anyway.
what about you? do you think this abundance in game releases is a point against today's gaming industry? or does it keep the industry going, growing and healthy?
Wow, just a few months ago people were complaining that there weren't enough games. Although I will agree that there aren't enough J-rpgs.
i wholeheartedly second that. i need a new JRPG

the more, the merrier I guess. and that means that the industry as a whole is evolving that benefits everyone along the way. but at the end of the day, it's still your call on what to purchase
