What is that Stand? And is the base with your equipment on it part of it?Zitat:
Zitat von user friendly
It would save so much space with my setup because atm I can't put my 360 or anything that sort of depth in front of my TV as the stand is too big.
Yeah, getting the pc is what you should do first. You already have a good amp and speakers and I think they will do till you upgrade  Plus in the mean time you can think about what receiver to get lol.Zitat:

It' a tech craft and it is all one piece, which was the main selling point. I was able to get rid of my stereo stand, which saved me quite a bit of space.Zitat:

This is it, I got the black one. It also has great cable management.

Bought it from the Sony Store.
It's freakin hard to pic a receiver, so many options and requirements that I have.Zitat:

Awesome! I assume it's adjustable for mounting any HDTV?
I know the back of mine has 4 screw holes. I'm fairly new with all the HDTV stuff but I am assuming they're fairly universal with fixing kits.
I know exactly how you feel. That stand is hot, how much was it?Zitat:
Zitat von user friendly
Yeah mine is rated for about a 50" or 150lbs (around there) and will adjust between a 30" to 50" TV, there's a few different size classes for the one I bought. I beleive the mounts on HDTV's are standard and will fit the stand as long as it falls within the weight class.Zitat:

$409 (CAN), after taxes.Zitat:

Dude I found the manufacturers website. That stand is way too wide for my room and will dwarf my tv. lol
I've just realised how big your TV actually is to not look small on that stand.
Shame they don't do a smaller one in the same design. I suppose I could always rearrange my shelfs and wall mount the TV (if a stud wall will take the weight).
They have a few at best buy, might wanna check them out.Zitat:

The mounting part is about 30" wide, it's a pretty big stand but they may make one for your size. There are stands that just have a little table on the top instead of the mounting brackets, which would suite a bedroom tv perfectly.
I've had my tv stand for about 18 years, i can't fit anything it it's too small and confined so I don't want my 360 or ps3 to overheat and explode (lol)

The tv is a 32" and is 800mm wide (or so the manufacturers spec says). You can see my 360 and wii on the PC stand. I want to ideally get the 360 on the TV stand but cant due to the stand of the TV. That makes no sense but basically the TV has it's own stand which is sat on the black furniture stand and it makes putting any thing else on it difficult.
This picture shows it better:

I might look at getting a new unit all together and combing it all in one. But space is already tight. Maybe speak to one of my dads friends and see if he can make a custom one.
Or just live with it and save some money to move out which is probably the best idea in the long run then I can have a lot more space to play with and not have to cram everything into one room.
That pic saddens me cause I sold PGR 3, ever since Microsoft ****ed me on my downloaded content that I paid for.Zitat:

Its nothing special yet, but I have plans to remove the mirror and in the place of that, either place an 52" 1080p LCD or take away the entire desk, mirror and clock and use a 1080p projector in that place with a screen size of up to 100"-150" or maybe even 200" if I'm lucky ;)
Cool.
Believe it or not, I actually like that. It's not cluttered like my setup
My sister is moving out so I have plans to move all my gaming/computer stuff into her room and have a real nice set up.

My setup is pathetic. Its kind of split in 2, games consoles above the garage, laptop in my room.
I have a 42 inch HDTV mounted on the wall but I'm not allowed to ****ing use it.

There we go! Much more higher quality pictures :)
So what do you guys advise? LCD or projection? I can't choose!
LCD is nice in my opinion, but the idea of 100" is so much more appealing! Size matters in my opinion :P
But then, the con with projection is that I will need to dim the room as much as possible to get the best result >____< argh!!!
Now if there was a 100" LCD within my budget.....
I don't think that was his. He posted his setup after that though.Zitat:

No its not. It's a guy I work with. He likes buying crap number plates like that. Some of his others are:
OGA5M
L281ANS
V80RGY
And this is mine (he was very pissed off that I got one that actually meant something):

This, *cough* will be my super awesome setup. My room, finally got new furniture, and now there is a big open wall begging for a HDTV. Combined with a $300 gift card to best buy from activating our phone plan, I get my very own 37 inch tv :D
Oh, and a bit of advice, do you guys think the 360 will be in a well enough ventilated place, or should I buy a small thing to go under the tv and put the 360 there (tv will be wall mounted)

But from what I've seen so far in this thread I don't think any of you will be impressed at my TV... or how it's set up.
