Add iPodTouchMaster's repo and install the app pack and mail fix from there [I think the repo is http://ipodtouchmaster.com/files/repo.xml but I'm not 100% sure]Zitat:

thanks, but...OMG!!! the wiggle function doesn't work :(
edit: never mind, it works now.
Did you install the $20 app pack? Or download it from the repo? If not that's the problem, if so, Idk, you are holding down the apps for 2 seconds right?Zitat:

k, it works now. summerboard still doesn't work right. i'll try switching it to think that it is 1.1.2
all this 1.1.3 talk is makin me want to jailbreak to 1.1.3
Do it. =]Zitat:

Only thing bad is no Apollo/MobileChat/Customize, and I'm sure we'll be seeing updates soon.
summerboard still isn't working. How can i fix it?
Did you restart your iPod after installing? I mean a full restart, not a respring with SMBprefs.Zitat:

Does anybody know how to get appollo to work with MSN?
oh, never mind i got it. thanks!Zitat:

i use Apollo alot... :/
I just use Beejive. Works great at least for AIM(not really sure if it supports other messages). 1.1.3 is great cause I can put an icon for it right on the home screen and then it's just like any other app. I never was a big fan of Apollo to be honest.
Should work with MSN in the first place, I used to use it. Unless you're talking about on 1.1.3, then no, you can'tZitat:

Plus with beejive you can use landscape mode to type. =]
Apollo does not work with MSN for me, neither des mobile chat (1.1.2)
So I guess ill upgrade to 1.1.3, what exactly do need to do so I dont encounter errors?
The ipod scene seems to be rather depressing since the 1.1.3 errors ...
i have lost track a bit to be honest
lol noes....
a webclip of like meebo.com on 1.1.3 wastes lots of screen space (i think)
i heard that 1.1.3 tho lets you use 2 fingers on the keyboard
for example.
holding shift and a letter..
so much good on 1.1.3 and soo much obstacles to overcome for it to become the new "1.1.2" for me
edit:
i lost track of in the psp scene because of the M33 stuffs...
then lost interest
hope that doesnt happen to you
ahh... Im actually very torn between updating and staying at 1.1.2
Just update, it's working fine for me here.
i might ... but it sounds like such a chore >_>

Im with ya....
actually, when i found out the right way to do it, it was the easiest thing ever.
Well what is the right way to do it?
If you're already on 1.1.2 then just use the Official Devteam or JailBreakMobile to update to it and then all is good :)
my installer won't install anything
Wtfff
I already ****ed up the upgrade I think :(
I didnt install services before upgrading
You don't need services, you only need BSD Subsystem 1.5+ and the most updated version of installer.Zitat:

Well it worked fine, however now I have none of my installed apps appearing on my springboard.
The only thing I hate about the touch is that there is no physical pause button so I can't turn it off in my pocket...:(
Well.
I did the thing that changes my version to 1.1.2, but I still cant install customize, and I cant install summerboard because it is telling me that its still installed, even though it isnt, and it wont let me uninstall it from installer
I'm not sure if i should try 1.1.3 again, you guys seem to think its great but i have tried it three times using three different methods and i always run into bugs. so the main question is whats the best method. take note that i want term-vt100 and iphone apps to work perfectly before I'm willing to make the move.
1337PSPer: Use the official dev team method and install the apps from a repo I posted 2 pages back. When that's done, install the ipodtouchfans repo [http://www.touchrepo.com/repo.xml] and then under install > Sources, install Trejan's repo. Once that's done, install term-vt100, then go to Tweaks 1.1.3 and install SUID fix, and term-vt100 SUID fix. if your mail pw doesn't save when you installed the iPhone apps, install the mail fix.
Android: Hmm, I'm not sure why that happened. My reccomendation is to restore and go to 1.1.3 with a clean install.
Ugh.... I dont wanna restore again T_T
I moved that folder when I got my iPod manually, Boss Tools doesn't like my iPod. After I updated it deleted my shortcut without me noticing so I fixed that up once I noticed it :)Zitat:

Only thing now is to get Customize and Apollo working :D
I have a problem. I just got and iPhone with OTB 1.1.2, but it had been upgraded to 1.1.3.
Well I downgraded to 1.1.1, Jailbreaked it through jailbreakme.com, installed oktoprep, upgraded to 1.1.2,and then used the jailbreak.jar file to jailbreak that, but now I get the error "Incorrect Sim This iPhone must be used with an approved sim" But I have service with ATT, so I dont need it unlocked, Just Jailbroken.
Can Anyone Help Me?
True and False. If you double tap the home button, it brings a on screen pause icon even if its locked. So if you just remember its the middle button on the top of the screen, you should be able to pause it.Zitat:

Great.
My iPod Touch is currently in forced restore mode (making it useless without restoring), because I installed Nate True's 'Dock' application on 1.1.3.
Why did I install it?
It was reported as working and it didn't stop me, and no one had reported problems, and previously using the app had helped before (ie. screenshot built in) so why not?
Now I have to jailbreak 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and then 1.1.3.. AGAIN. :(
Behold, even more reasons not to upgrade to 1.1.3 JB yet.Zitat:

To make restoring faster for those of you who have to do it multiple times for whatever reason, just simply tell iTunes not to sync your music back and leave it like that until after you get to 1.1.3.
For those who feel like trying again here's the order I would do things.
1. Once on 1.1.1 jailbreakme.com and install AppSnap. From there install OktoPrep and jump straight to 1.1.2. From there start installer and install BSD Subsystem. Restart the iPod for the changes to take effect. Install BossTools and move the applications folder. Go to install and launch the installation of your choice(either official devteam or iJailbreakMobile). Launch and install that. Once completed add the 1.1.3 $20 app pack using one of various repos out there. Install summerboard 3.1-1 from Installer. Restart the iPod and voila.
Im gonna try once more, if it dosnt work this time, im staying on 1.1.2
