Well it seems to be working.
Summerboard does not do anything when I cahnge themes though
have you physically restarted the ipod? this happened to me, don't just re-springboard, actually restart it.Zitat:

DO I have to restart my ipod every time I change themes now?
Yeah, I just tried setting it to the leopard theme that comes with summerboard, and nothing happened, even when i restarted
-= Double Post =-
Themes I SSH onto my ipod dont show up in the themes list either.
****ing great
The directory is different on 1.1.3. Put the themes in: /var/mobile/library/summerboard/themes
noZitat:

Do you have the latest version of installer and summerboard (3.1-1)Zitat:

Yes I do have the latest versions
even installing the themes there did not work, they show up now, but when I aply them nothing happens
ya this used to happen to me. hmmm, try this:Zitat:

ssh into you ipod,
go to /system/library/coreservices
and find the file called SystemVersion.plist
open that, and near the bottom it should say:
change the 1.1.3 to 1.1.2, save it and try summerboard again.Zitat:
<string>1.1.3</string>
Still nothing
-= Double Post =-
Well I figured out the probelm
I used the ipodtouchmasters method of upgrading, not the official dev team method
-= Double Post =-
ALRIGHT! There we go, everything works now. I did the devteam update and its all good now
haha thats weird the ipodtouchmaster way didn't work for me, but the dev team method works.
They both worked for me, but the dev team way lets me use smb
I might need to restore my iPod later on this month
should I go 1.1.2 or 1.1.3???!?!!
Go giants :D
only restore if you really need to, jailbreakme.com has been giving me a lot of trouble lately to the point of witch that I'm still on unjailbroken because i can't get it to work :(
its done it a few times to me and all ways starts working sooner or later but i haven't found any common ground on what makes it work.
Giants are choking, it's pissing me off. I was at work all night, I get home adn Giants are winning and I was like yay, now they're sucking ass.
Surprised I haven't seen any Super Bowl themes on Installer. There's an Eagles theme though :)
Summerboard has a problem still, the dock is for some reason very high
You need to edit the docks and make them the size of a normal iPhone dock.Zitat:

yeah for some people jailbreakme.com don't work for them...
Yay giants.. $10 for mee
Can't you guys just use advanced preferrences to get the ipod dock
Is there a way to get customize to work?
True, and besides the fact I lost all my contacts, music, calendar events, videos etc, it wasted a good hour of my life to rejailbreak it :(Zitat:

Who here has a iPhone?
Me, but Im still having trouble with the damn thing. It refuses to accept my sim card after I jailbreaked it, even though I have service with AT&TZitat:

Ah. Sony PSP (the member) just asked me to help him jailbreak his iPhone. I could do it, but i was worried he'd get that message you have. If you do solve it, holla at me.Zitat:

For now, search the WHOLE of ipodtouchfans.com/youtube.com and google. I'm sure you'll find the answer somewhere.
Same, he PM'd me, but I didn't want to cause any problems due to the presence of a SIM card.
either way, you could always restore it. I had to restore mine because I need the phone function, but can someone just answer this question real quick?Zitat:

I have firmware 1.1.3. Now I downgrade it to 1.1.1, it gives me the 1015 error.
I run iBrick to reboot, I jailbreak, then I run Oktoprep, then upgrade to 1.1.2, but right when it finishes upgrading, I get the 1015 error again, so I run iBricker to reboot it. Now according to this guide
http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=461
After the upgrade to 1.1.2 its supposed to be flawless. I shouldn't even see the 1015 error again.
I have done the steps exactly to the letter, except the part where it says to close iTunesHelper.exe from the processes tab, because its not there.

Ok I right when I wrote That ^^^ I found out that in msconfig I had disabled it from startup, but would that make a difference
Oh and just for the record, I can Jailbreak just fine and do all that cool stuff. Its just the sim part I have trouble with(not unlocking. I know thats not possible, but I have a valid AT&T sim card with service)
Hey guys, I have put together some easy to follow video tutorials for jailbreaking all the firmwares from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3, the 1.1.3 video will be up shortly, they are available for free on YouTube on this channel: http://au.youtube.com/user/iTouchHacks
Hope these can help someone :)
EDIT: mmkay :D
WTF is in indonesia..

I never knew you had an iPhone!
its an iPod touch..
the phone app is SIP-VoIP which i use :D from time to time
the No SIM label tricks alot of people.... alot.
icons arranged like iphone too helps..
I don't see the point in making your touch look like a iPhone. Its just pointless IMO.
thaanks for your consideration in not wanting to mess up my iPhone. I think I'm going to attempt the jailbreak tonight.....after I watch those videos ;-)
ive done the ibricker thingy successfully. Now it says download the 1.1.3 soft upgrader. Where is it? Icant find it??? i download the community source thing and resreshed sources but it is still not there!
It should be. Check the Recent part.
Guys, 16GB iPhone and 32GB iPod Touch are heading our way real soon!
nope not there. Im gonna upgrade to 1.1.2 and then try again. Do u have to deinstall installer.app to install 1.1.2? when i try updating it keeps giving me an error?
f*** this, im going back to 1.1.3
new question: Whenever i sync my ipod touch it changes the time on it to something wrong? Why is this happening?
time problem should be fixed if your PC/Mac's time isnt out of date
WTF?Zitat:

Uninstall?
Don't use Nate True's method, it's buggy and breaks the DRM (I haven't used it for these reasons).Zitat:
Zitat von psp2468
Use the iPhone/iPod Dev Team's version, which will be in Installer under System > Official 1.1.3 Updater.
It runs completely on the iPod, and you need WiFi.
I have installed it on 3 iPod Touch devices so far, and it worked flawlessly on each of them :)
ah ok i wil give it a try.Zitat:

When ever i try and downgrade my ipod, when i restore it with 1.1.1 update, it says error conecting to ipod or something like that and then has (1) after it. If i but back 1.1.3 it works. Could it be that apple have put a block or something in 1.1.3?
Edit: It seems the way of holding down the home button and off button is buggy cos when i did the iphuc way it worked.
It's not buggy, Apple just stopped letting us restore to lower software updates, so if you upload a file using iPHUC that downgrades the restore thingy, then you can restore to 1.1.1.Zitat:
Zitat von psp2468
Or you can just downgrade to 1.1.1 without using iPhuc...
Just put the iPod in DFU mode.
Does anyones clock keep switching from 12 hour to 24 hour?
