Um what?
Your mother stole a previously bought iPod Touch for you? Awesome.Zitat:

Well, theres already been images circulating of a iPhone with a black back. So i'm guessing that when that comes out a iTouch looking the same with more features will too. Right?Zitat:

I really dident hear anything about that....But one thing that sucks about the Ipod touch is that the back scratche s really easy unlike the Iphone that has a sliver back...
i kinda want an iPhone
Yeah. But on the other hand the iPhone has a horrible looking back. Black and silver? Eww.Zitat:

Still really better than a scratched up back.....
I've had my iTouch since Christmas. I've only got one little scratch from when something for into my Griffin iClear case and rubbed against it.Zitat:

I was going to get a Invisible Shield, but the salesperson told me that it was permanent. Has anyone used it? Is it removable?
That's one stupid sales person, of course it is removableZitat:

i really like the screen of the touch. its really hard to scratch it.
as i said before, this is the first apple product that i like... the design/touch interface and solid case is pure sex.
the rest of there products are horrible and ugly. white is so damn ugly... black ftw.

anyway, so what are the best homebrew games and apps for the touch? im trying to get a good collection.
But i thought you had to use this solution that had glue in it? Wouldnt that leave/rip off chunks of your ipod?Zitat:
Zitat von FrozenIpaq
I looked up the InvisShield and it says it doesn't leave any sticky residue after removal. And no..it wouldn't rip of chunks of your ipod if it did that.Zitat:

Apollo
That's just a quick rundown
Last i checked Apollo is no longer being supported now everyone uses Mobilechat...
MobileChat 2.2X > Apollo
Apollo hasnt worked for me for ages. I'll try out MobileChat.
MiM (Make It Mine) is a great application for renaming the iPod section in the top left corner. iDope is good too. Oh and PocketTouch.
I try mobilechat but when I try to save my msn account it won't :(
has anyone seen these? They look pretty cool.
That looks brilliant. But till i noticed one thing.Zitat:

My biggest upset with my Griffin iClear case is that it allows dust to come in through the sides and holes that they've made for the buttons. So it means that i have to constantly clean it to avoid scratches.
This is that same concept but with acrylic. Its going to let dust in through the HOME button and its going to float all about there.
cases for me make my super thin device super bulkyyy
True, but they serve their purpose. I dropped my touch from about 4 feet straight onto my tile floor... It had the griffin clear case and my ipod was perfectly fine. I'd rather have it a little bulky than risk it getting dented lol.Zitat:
Zitat von thatoneguy
That case is pretty sick in the coverage and stuff but it take the iphone from secks to midget granny secks  (makes it look way ugly :P)Zitat:
Zitat von Greyone
I threw my iTouch onto my bed and it flipped down..smashing into wooden ground.Zitat:
Zitat von gmansixfo
I know the iTouch's glass screen wouldnt handle that. Thank god i had the same case as you.
im getting a new touch..
should i get the Invisible-Shield type of things?
or a case..
i don't want the back to be scratched this time
Is a screen protector really necessary for my iphone? I really don't want to put one on...but should i just in case?
Well..everyones saying that it has "Scratch Resistant" glass screen. But Apple doesnt confirm that, probably because they dont want to be liable for scratched screens. But i'd get a screen protector anyway.Zitat:
Zitat von Frenchb0ygenius
@oneguy, i think you should. I've been using the iClear and its okay. But makes it quit bulky. If you do get Invisible Shield, post your thoughts. I'm interested in getting it.
I say you get the invisible shield and add a case on too, i looked around and found a nice case here
Your iPod will not fit in that case if it has a Invisible Shield.
It will, invisible shield is more thin compared to other screen protectors.Zitat:
Zitat von Vee
I'm telling you that it doesnt fit.Zitat:
Zitat von Nero
I saw a few posts on TouchFans of people annoyed that it wouldnt work.
woah, you sure? Its just like a small sheet that goes over the touch. I would try it but i dont have a touch :(
It is but that case is literally touching the iPod. No space at all.Zitat:
Zitat von Nero
lol im still on 1.1.2, I really need to start updating to 1.1.4
Likewise.Zitat:

I've been playing around with my brothers 1.1.4 iPhone. Its just so god damn quicker at everything. I did a side by side comparison of Youtube. Not only did it load them quicker, it also let them play. Something that my iPod is having alot of trouble with. It keeps stopping half way through, then playing really fast and crashing.
I'm just really worried i'd mess up the upgrading process, then get a error trying to restore. Has a solution been found for that yet?
http://jailbreak.imackid.net/How_to_...Pod_touch.html
lol. There. its really easy, Im going to start doing it now. The only thing I hate is having to delete all my stuff T_T
back up your sources..
/var/Library/Installer/
backup anything with the word sources .plist
thanks, but I have a whole bunch of stuff in that folder, I just backed up the entire folder

I'm going to buy the new 3g iphone when it comes out. Does anyone think it will be hackable?
Nothing is not "hackable".Zitat:
