OMFG!!! I download 2.0, install it, and now my iPhone is at the place where I need to register it or whatever? (like you can only make emergency calls and it tells you to plug into iTunes) but when I plug it in it says that it timed out or something wtf?

Activision server has been buggy all day from what I've heard just give it time.

I have it and im ready, but Im not sure if it will brick or whatever, since im already on a jailbroken firmware... it should be fine, right?

That's what I'm doing. I'm gonna try just a straight update though instead of a restore, see if that works. If not guess I'll have to restore, I just prefer not to.

The activation servers are overloaded, and people haven't been able to active their phones, so assuming you have the right carrier for where ever you are, if you just wait a little while, you'll be able to activate.

And if you don't have the right carrier, then you have to wait for a Jailbreak and Unlock... Like me >_>

It automatically made me restore everything so doing that now. But I am up and running firmware 2.0 legit. I know it's controversial, but I just don't believe I should have to pay everytime Apple releases a firmware update for the iTouch. That's just ridiculous.

Yessssss. I have 2.0, I just went into recovery mode, shift+click, browsed for update, applied, and all is working well now :)

Any games or apps that anyone has noticed that are worth buying yet? If so I might have to add some money to my iTunes account. I have no problem with buying and supporting those, it's just the update itself that I had a problem with.

me too! feels more smooth. i personally dont care about the jailbraking anymore with this update. especially since there are so many free apps.

Oh yeah, it's linked to your log-in information on iTunes. It'll bill what ever CC you have on there.

Can someone just confirm this, after updating to 2.0, is it possible to use the old method via iTunes to go back down to a lower firmware?

I'm not doing this unless i'm sure i can return back to a jailbroken firmware.

Popcap is making it for the iPhone... Actually, they're making a bunch of games for the iPhone.

If I can get Peggle and Puzzle Quest, I'll be absolutely set. I wouldn't need another app, period.

wtf! iTunes wont let me download any apps! It says there is a payment probelm, and then when I check my purchases, it says I owe $0 and everything there was free... so I dont understand how there can be a billing problem.
