It came out today so we didn't exactly download it before it was released. It prompted me to update in iTunes earlier for $10

ah. but they still would be pissed over us getting it for free

Most people did it with the last update as well so they should be used to it. Their own fault for trying to charge people for a software update. Actually it's probably good for them. More people are probably willing to pay for the apps then the firmware like me, so it ives them a chance to make more money with the App Store than they would have.

i synced all my apps to itunes and put on my music. now i cant start any app i have downloaded on my ipod...

i have tried restarting it but they just wont start! halp!

He never jail broke it, so i know that can't be the reason.

grrr! I cant get any new apps, because iTunes is forcing me to update my billing info, which is my dad's credit card, who is in Europe atm! I owe $0 and its forcing me to do this to pay the outstanding money... what outstanding money? my fee says $0

It won't let you get apps from iTunes or the App Store? That sucks man. Try contacting customer support I guess.
Just found out there's an application for Pandora Radio, that's freaking awesome :)

i have bought monkey ball, crash nitro 3d, bejeweled 2 and aqua forest. all of them are great. but they all lag alot and the framerate is pretty crappy in some of the 3d games. but they are ok for the prize. cant wait for peggle!

Those instructions arnt particularly easy. Especially when half way through the tutorial it switches over to Mac instructions.

No that tutorial definitely lists how to do things on both Mac and Windows, maybe you should just read more carefully.

Anyway, my brother borrowed my iPod today and left it in his gf's hangbag. It was stolen a couple minutes later.

So he's planning to pay £210 towards getting a new one, then i'm going to pay the other 40 and get a 32GB iPod Touch that i saw someone selling on gumtree. So mixed emotions, pissed it got stolen, happy i get to get a bigger iPod.

But i have a better mobile phone then the iPhone 3G. Its the media capabilities that attracts me to the iTouch/iPhone. Not the actual mobile ones. Their **** compared to other phones.

t was to do a restore upgrade....it will resolve many bugs..

I restored then updated. Worked fine. I've heard its alot better then updating straight.


Just a little warning: If you've used "Make It Mine" to change your carrier name, change it back. As it will stay like that even through restore and update.

I'm stuck with my iPod Touch saying "iTouche" in the corner. Dont mind it though, it rox.

OSX86 dosnt work on my PC, and if it did, it would go like slower than Oprah Winfrey on a treadmill.

On that note, im going over to my friends later, as he has a mac, and I havent seen him in awhile.

osx runs better on my pc than xp does.
