LineRider is out for iTouch? Awesome. I must go to AppStore more often (cydia > appstore)
Anyway, I'd say I'd prefer Tap Tap Revenge to any other AppStore game out there. It's just awesome.

ok since the RiP Dev people bought the name Installer from NullRiver
do you still like Installer 4.00?
Installer sucks now.
Cydia is, ages, better.
i trust saurik more than RiP Dev
so whats the deal with iphone/touch apps. Can all iphone/touch software versions be jailbroken to use 3rd party apps. Does jailbreaking your touch make official app store applications not work? Are there any negative side affects of jailbreaking (breaking other features, risk of bricking, etc...)?
guys.. all iPhone 3Gs get 1 year of applecare for free right? as it says here
so how much would it be to replace my phone with a new one or a fixed one
This sucks. I got the official SDK and I'm getting the hang of programming for my Touch. So I asked a question at ipodtouchfans last week, 140 view of the thread and absolutely 0 replies.
Well, I got the SDK and I was hoping to just do applications that I could use for just myself. But it looks like I have to pay the $99 fee just for that. Isn't there a way to develop without wanting to distribute for free? I know that there is jail-breaking and whatnot, but I just would like to go official right now. I feel kinda bummed. :Cry: I was learning a lot of Cocoa just so I could program some apps for personal use...
Is it possible to unlock the iPhone 3g (newest model/firmware) to work on Vodafone?
EDIT: I did look around, but I could only find stuff on Jailbreaking (using QuickPwn?)... so I guess not?
Welcome to my world :( The best you can do is use the iPhone Simulator. And as for developing for jailbreaking touches and phones, it's a lot more boring...and harder. I would keep learning and experimenting until you have something really awsome that you could release, and then maybe think about the $99.
Even by doing it that way, you don't get to test touch controls, as well as accelorometer. Hmmm, I wish there was some way of doing it, this sucks pretty bad. They should have a feature on Xcode allowing you to register only one personal device to hardware debug.
:Argh::Argh::Argh:

OMG I want this theme soo badly
@androidkaita i want that theme...
cant you just code apps then.
you press a button it'll be on your iPhone where you can test it.
I really wanted to start programming, this whole "you have to be a apple whore" to make a application is ****. i just want to have a hand at programming, why do i need to pay so much?!
just use the iPhone toolchain then distribute thru cydia
Why?
If i were to develop for the iPhone, it would be official. Doing it for Cydia would be crap.
Can anyone recommend a good case for the iPhone 3G? I really don't want my iphone to be much thicker with it on.
iPhone 3G cases im thinking of getting..:
Power Support Air Jacket
Griffin iClear
after i get my iPhone replaced.. (maybe tomorrow)
I still really like this iphone case http://www.case-mate.com/phones/appl...-for-iPhone-3G
Thanks for your ideas. I wouldn't advise the griffin iClear if it is anything like the iReflect. Although it was a great case, it made my ipod touch as thick as an iphone, which is quite a lot of added bulk.
I like the look if the incase slider, which is pretty thin at only 1mm, but looks very nice. No screen protection though.
im gonna do a theme right now
Woop!
I wouldnt recommend the Griffin iClear. I have it on my iTouch and i thought it would prevent scratches on the metal back, but it hasnt. Dust gets in and rubs together causing small circular scratches.
How much does the average game on the Touch take up? For example, would it be worth getting an 8GB if I wanted to play both music and games, and maybe some videos?
