My attorney is gay and he comes over on Sunday during NFL season to BBQ often. My sister also brings over her kids on occasion to join in the day. (her three kids under five) Not one of them has ever had a nightmare due to this.
Children are ignorant to all of the adult world's issues and hangups. If a child has a nightmare along what your describing it's because they were influenced into it.

This thread is going in circles, lets tie up the recurring reasons and maybe we can have an actual discussion.
From the last 10 pages or so, these are the main points that have come up (again and again)
1) Gay marriage should be allowed to reduce the human population - This is a crap arguement. People will have children regardless of whether it is in marriage or not.
2) Gay people make me uncomfertable, therefore they should keep it to themselves. - Wrong again, there is no law to say that you have the right not to be offended or the right not to be made uncomfertable. If there were laws that did this, then no one would be able to do anything as it would make someone somewhere uncomfertable
3) I was brought up in a homophobic environment, therefore everyone should cater for my needs - Crap arguement. Yes it may be hard to change if you were brought up in a certain way but that should not be an excuse. Common sense should prevail.
4) Accepting homosexuality is like accepting child rape i.e. it is impossible to do. - Wrong. If you analyse the situations, you will see they are different. I know you stated this but we make decisions based on a few criteria. I don't say 'Child rape is wrong because I was taught it was wrong'. I would say 'Child rape is wrong because it hurts the child physically and mentally'. Because we go through the reasoning, accepting child rape becomes impossible because the core reasoning doesn't change. If I was to say 'Homosexuality is wrong because I was told it was wrong', that would easily be changed to acceptance since there is no logical reasoning in that statement.
5) Gays are scary - Please drop this arguement. Most of the fear a child learns is through experience. Unless they have specifically been told that there is a boogie man under their bed or that gays will murder them, they will fear nothing.
Now unless this thread stops going in circles, it will be locked.

Well I probably appear more intellectual in real life, some of it doesn't show over the internet. You also have to remember that I'm quite a bit younger than you all so I haven't learned a lot of lessons in life that you all have learned.
