I didn't see a topic for this before (if there is, it's probably bottled), so I thought this'll make a good topic.
I'm currently reading "A Theory of Fun for Game Design", which explores in depth what makes game (video or traditional) fun. I have to say, I'm not much of a reader, due to the lack of books which are too my liking. I end up reading really basic horror story books for kids. But when GameJew recommended this book, I decided to shell out just under £10 for this. I started to read it, and for the little time I've sacrificed for reading this, I've already gotten really far, due to high interest. It has been really sucking me in, with it's balanced share of pictures and writing (for every one page, theres a picture). His illustrations are truly vibrant and lively, quiet amusing to look at. This book is one for all, if your just a video game player, or a developer this is one for you. Author: Raph Koster
