To lay some quick facts down:
I'm a teenager right now with a fairly stable income and would like to invest in my money (mainly let it gain some interest)
One place of interest, INGDirect, caught my attention, as it had one of the most flexible and highest interest rates for a savings account. The trouble is, I have learned and found out that INGDirect is a web-only buisness? Unlike Chevy Chase and, say Bank of America, which have many branches, i have not found any for INGDirect.
So this is my question, how do I, a 15 year old, set up a savings account with INGDirect? I looked at the demo on their web site and apparently I have to open a checking account with a bank like CHevy CHase first? And then electronicaly transfer my money from CC to INGD? Thanks for any help
