Okay, you get to choose just one. ONE. One album that you consider means near absolutely everything to you. I bet it's a hard choice, but just think about any one album that made you change your outlook for the rest of your life.
Dave Matthews Band
Yep, I said it Everyday from the Dave Matthews Band. This album gets mixed reviews, which doesn't necessarily mean it was bad. It just means it was a major change in Dave and the gang's initial sound, having a more electric sound than their previous acoustic sounding jam sessions. I consider this my favorite album because it's what got me into music in the first place and helped me to understand that there's more to music than topics of looking cool, being angry, poppy hooks, teenage angst, and other things that just degrade music. It is from here I discovered other genres connected to Jazz/Rock such as Folk, Acoustic, Jazz and the many different genres of Rock. I can probably see why it isn't the best album of all time as there are other albums, more noticeably Dave Mathews Band's earlier albums that sound a little better as well as works from other artists, but I've always been attached to this album the most.
