Hello there. I'll probably be purchasing a used car from someone in the next few weeks/months.
The price is nice and I was wondering steps to take to make sure I'm catching all the sticky stuff.
For one, I'm going to run a CARFAX history report. But I'm curious, does that CARFAX thing pick up everything?
(Supposably it says it would pick up if the car was totaled and put back together, in a flood, fire, etc etc) Is it true? Or should I also take the car to a professional before I purchase it to check it out from front to back?
Buying a car is a first for me. I want to make sure I do it correctly so I won't get screwed later.
