Well I just thought I'd start this thread, to talk about public transport.
I used to live in the UK (London), but now moved to Belgium (Brussels).
I used to complain a bit about the public transports in England, as you know, all the normal things, like delays, oyter cards nor working. ****ty bus drivers, and some blokes that thinks the buses are their houses and that they can eat their junky stuff and leave traces everywhere, and also listen to that crappy songs some of them like.
I'm no old guy, but it's really annoying some times.
Now in Brussels, things a different. The quality of transport is... I have to say... different. It's better because normally people respect other people in the trains, but is terrible because the system is very old, so you don't have precise timings, and sometimes waiting for a bus takes forever.
The tube stinks as much as it stinks in london in the winter, the difference is that it's like this every time.
As this year we didn't really have a summer in Europe, I have no idea how it is when it's like 34 degrees, but I can imagine ain't very nice.
I just wanted to know if it's just here, or if the public transport is the same sh*t in other countries/cities.
Please describe everything like quality, timings, security etc....
