This band is a project of Nikki Sixx, the bassist from Mötley Crüe, and The Heroin Diaries, their first album to date, is based on his book about his life as a heroin addict. This premise might sound boring, but this is my favorite album of 2007. Sixx: A.M. have completely shed their Mötley Crüe roots and have produced a really amazingly varying, emotional album. I recommend everyone to listen to/download this album as soon as possible.
Their single "Life is Beautiful" is one of the best on the album, so try listening to that first if you just want a taste, but I would really recommend getting the whole album.
