The vast majority of Ron Paul supporters are college kids and young adults who have just gotten caught up in the fervor over Ron Paul because their friends are into it. They don't bother to actually investigate the candidates. Ron Paul is just the MySpace of the presidential election: everyone's hopping on the bandwagon.
