new single so easily, though. It actually grows on you. At first I was like, wtf? But The Verve has never been down for conventional stuff.
yes I agree with you...
definite gems in that one.
And honestly there are so many sub-genres for metal and "core" stuff that its just confusing.
BTW, If you like protest the hero, you should try out The Human Abstract. I just listened to there new album and its good, but I suggest there old album, Nocturne, because that is an amazing album (when they had there old guitarist)
I was blown away by the instrumental its freakin awsome!!
you know techno is making a comback here in the U.S.
No i didn't but hardcore and techno will always be about as long as drugs are about xD
I only heard them referred to as nu-metal cause if you call them just metal then every dude in a unwashed master of puppets t-shirt gets all pissed off.
I've been meaning to check out The Human Abstract since you mentioned them before, I just haven't got around to it.
you should man
its really good
Im glad you liked it :)
next step up would be listening to the normal verison of the album, then listening to there older album, Kezia
Actually, I would suggest listeneing to Kezia first, its an amazing album. Each song tells a story about a girl whos name was kezia, and it goes through her life, from birth to death.
Or at least listen to the songs blindfolds aside and turn soonest to the sea, those are my faves from kezia
I think iull download the whole album
yea ive noticed the difference...
have you heard Job For a cowboy...
Yeah, I like Knee Deep, but everything else is just too creepy lyrically for me to listen to.
But I can listen to Black Dahlia Murder no problem, because I know that they are joking around with there lyrics (just watch there music videos lmao)

Uhh, what is Slipknot if they aren't metal? I mean, they're pretty metal, right?

idk, like nu-metal probably, which is basically the same, but with singing and sometimes rap and **** in there
Some other kickass bands are Threat Signal and All That Remains. The 2 new All That Remains songs on tehre myspace are freaking brutal
a good band would also be The used
I like some of the songs from the killers...their alright some ae pretty good
yes thats true
I liked the first album though
Killers have gone down. Hot Fuss was epic, Sams Town was alrite, Sawdust was just wtf. It was only a b-side tho so..
