Since this has nothing to do with PC gaming, Windows or Unix (why isn't there a general IT section?) I guess I'll post this here.
Google is coming out with a new open source web browser and I gotta say I will definitely be giving it a try. Google is one of those companies that I view as the "good guys" of the computer world so their push from just web applications to real world applications is something I very much welcome with open arms. Hopefully this will open the door to a Google OS sometime in the future ;)
The broswer is set to come out later today and I cannot wait to try it, more info can be found with this links:
One thing I'm confused by though is the fact that Mozilla and Google have always been very friendly with each other, I thought FF was the browser that Google liked. It's open source and user driven, something that Google stands for too. Strange that they are bringing out competition for FF. Oh well... two open source browsers is better than one, more chance that a user will choose open source instead of IE, Safari (Webkit is open source but not the broswer) or Opera.
