As for the moderation of QJ, I have not always agreed with some of the decisions. I won't name names, but I have seen some poor examples of moderation.

Will do, but I hope I will never have to.
so wait a minute....let me get this straight. Ok I think I got it.
It's not a mutiny, its just offering a better service for the whole community without any dictatorship or profit. Nobody's saying you have to join.
Haha, I found it really funny when sam and I went under false names and posted screencaps of Myst's account on the "Sleep Sex" forum. Also about how he has ED, hilarious. Everyone knew, but Ipaq was just like IVE SEEN PICTURES GUYS SHES A GIRL.
i was banned for two months after quoting steven as saying i don't believe anyone on the internet is a girl unless i say pics of my name written directly above their vagina.
along with a crudely drawn MSpaint image of a naked female with steven typed above the vagina, and the text ZOMG! MYST!
Wow, whats the big deal with whether Myst is a girl or a boy?
MYST IS A MAN
its safe to say that now
The real problem is, many of you have not seen the extent of the differences between the front page staff and the forums, a problem which has been present from when I joined QJ!
Now, as a former front page blogger i can assure you that QJ was once a fully-staffed company in a very good position in terms of both finance and prospects. Now this has reveresed, and it seems that QJ is going downill rapidly.
As with many companies, QJ has cut staff meaning less writers, less articles, less visitors and therefore lower revenue. ********** is currently being paid for by ex QJ forum staff (who didn't get paid ever BTW) and therefore we are more interested in its success.
We (**********.net) don't want proft, in fact we already have a system in place to pay for the forums, through previous mods/admins fed up with the crappy QJ rules we had to abide by. Rest assured, we will sort things out, this is our site with NO revenue.
This isn't about advertising, we just want the decent members of QJ to come to our site. Why? So we can keep this once bustling community going without the fear of the high and mighty (QJ front page admin) shutting us down one day. If you understand what i mean and want to come, come. If you don't, don't bother. This isn't a desperate cry for QJ members to join. If you don't want to join then chances are we won't miss you.
"Bored of these forums? Want something more? Need help with ISOs? Click me!"
This makes me think that Qj, will loose its good members. But non the less, if ********** stays active I don't really see any disappointment, although Qj has a good reputation.
QJ is well-known, which is the only reason it is still afloat. It actually has an awful reputation.
These forums are going down the drain.
The only rather active section is the PSP's.
MfM, here I come.
Right time for a proper post now.
I have been a mod on this site for over two years. I was made mod after being here for less than a week and back in the day I was the most active contributer and posted the most guides for the eloader section of homebrew. During my long stay on QJ I have seen things go from great to bad to worse, and I assure you this is not due to our moderation team.
I know a lot of you will ridicule us and stay here in the petty hopes to fill our shoes (you know who you are and it's very transparent). But to be honest you guys have no idea how bad things are.
The only staff member here with any "power" at all is Mysticales who is not capable of running this forum, this is only made worse by the lack of communication any of us have with the higher ups, on top of that Abe and other admins have requested the permissions to make this forum better but it was never given. This forum is a sinking ship, the project manager Jake retired without telling us a while ago as he saw what was happening, if that's not a flashing red light I don't know what is.
Anyway, to all you people saying how bad our moderation team is you should of seen the time we spent trying to make this place better, some of you just don't like us and that's cool because to be honest a lot of people here are complete morons, I have put up with you guys for long enough so I'm sorry if I don't sugarcoat my posts anymore but I'm here to make sure things run smoothly, I'm not a baby sitter, and that goes for the rest of the staff.
Anyway, we have worked hard on making this new forum, be it setting it up, writing guides, re writing rules ect ect, and the bottom line is this:
We don't have the money to invest in this like QJ had (not that any of it went into the forums anyway) but what we do have is a team of people who risked loosing their staff positions on this forum just so we can make a better community for the decent members, if you don't want to be a part of that then don't be.
Nice. I'm signing up right now. Hope it can become even better than QJ was in it's heyday. See you guys there. (i'm regestered under the name Zero.)
I posted this over at the new site, but wanted to also post it here to give a little insight as to why this decision was made.
I’ll keep it short, but I just wanted to make a quick post to give a little of background information on why this site was formed. It has become increasingly clear that the decision makers of the QJ network have stopped caring, and that evidence became apparent in how the frontpage and forums were being run and treated. Activity was way down on both fronts and there was absolutely nothing the current staff could do about it because we were tied to a set of rules and permissions that had us handcuffed.
Since we were basically helping out a company that none of us worked for and pretty much none of us had any contacts with, we were/are left in the dark on everything. To avoid the inevitable day when the plug was pulled on the forums, it was decided that creating a network and forum of our own would be a great preventative measure. (Rather than sit down and play music as the Titanic sank.)
What we hope to accomplish here is an environment where members are free to fully express themselves as they see fit and without the previous restrictions of the QJ network. That doesn’t mean that common decency rules are thrown out the window however. If you are mature enough to discuss gaming, homebrew, and developing without crossing that line, then we hope you enjoy your stay.
It was debated about to bring over the entire QJ forum database, but in the end it was decided that a fresh start was needed. As with any new start along these lines, the only thing that will help us grow is the community and user base who will be reading this. You will find the amount of industry knowledge regarding things like the PSP and PS3 here equal to or better than other similar sites across the internet, and we look forward to seeing you contribute to it.
So thank you for reading this and we hope you enjoy your stay. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let us know.
on the blog. Forums work fine.Quote:

We're changing the blogs to Joomla.
I'll visit both until I get bored of one.
JEMdev, MDPR sucks now anyway so forget about it.
Well at least its not as bad as the main page. The comments on those articles are getting so horrid that it makes me want to abandon this site for good.
I never liked the front page, it was very horrid. At first I checked the front page before I was a forum member, as soon as I saw the forum, I registered, it was so much more informing in so many way. Not all the GOOD releases that should have been on the front page were, the forums are so much better...
*Hopes for a better start with the mods over at M4Mature*
