I need to burn some calories for soccer tryouts, which are in a little more than two weeks. I started weight training after two months, and i noticed i've gotten much weaker and gained weight (fat). So i have two paths - bulk up or lose weight. I weight trained this morning, and i burned quite a lot of calories. But then i just burnt 360 calories on the treadmill. Should i continue running to improve my stamina and lose weight for soccer? Or should i burn fat and gain muscle by weight training. I think for soccer i need to be on the treadmill. But if i lose weight before tryouts, and i fail making the team, it would be much more difficult to bulk up again. Right now, i weigh a lot and have quite a lot of body fat. So what should i do?
