It really isn't, either. In the US, marriage is a legally-defined state. It cannot be considered religious from a legal standpoint... because that would be state support of religion.

For the people that voted 'no', I bet you have no more than 5 friends. Whenever I get to know a person there's literally a 1/3 chance that their bi and a 1/5 that their homosexual. There's just too much people that you're being closed off to reality to.
