Hey Mods/Admins, This is just a stupid thought.. but when I look at the ROM discussion forum, all I see is how that could take traffic away from the REAL forums designed for the retroware. I mean I know people could post there about compat issues and settings etc, but its also turning into a spot where people will just talk about retroware THERE. Like right now saw a post purely about Best SNES games, had nothing to do with PSP or a emu, just a list, which would be better off in the snes forums personally. Others talk about a game etc which diverts the traffic, so in a sense, people would rather post in the atcive PSP forums, vs move to the retroware forums where they could talk about the games too or something.
I mean you have a Homebrew support forum, so seems kinda doubled up there.
Just was thinking for couple options, either like really say that forum is to talk about EMU support issues and config settings and leave roms out of there, or move the full Rom talk to the Games Dicussion forum, so it can cover a broader aspect of emus for PC and PSP alike.
Just right now, everyone only goes to PSP forums, and with a open rom forum there, they will just talk about the retro games there vs the forums designed for them. Just looking on how to increase the hurting part of the forums by moving one forum or fixing the issue abit to promote them to post where it should go and just leave that for EMU support or something.
What do you all think?
Like read this.
Best Snes Games List
At the end, he says that thats a spot to talk about all roms etc, so really it makes the retro forums almost not needed... =/
More Edit: Read more on the forums, seems people ask what game is best for "X" system, what kinds etc.. all things that could put more traffic on the retro forums. =/ I mean I understand ROM forums is good place to learn about "roms" themselves and if something doesnt work and what the symbols mean etc.. but was it really designed to talk about the game systems and the games that come on it?
