I download porn and dont get anything. Put Norton Internet Security on the PC and tell her to use anything besides Internet Explorer. Also use emule for downloading its the most reliable for not getting any crap onyour pc.

I give her Mozilla for internet, avg for viruses, ewido for malware, spybot and adaware for spyware, windows firewall. Her computer is more or less secure yet theres constantly crap wrong...

Because your using all the free software. There's a reason that you pay for Norton Internet Security and that is that it works.

Plus if your not gonna pay for a firewall then get Zone Alarm the windows firewall is wank. You could always get Norton free anyway. *cough* torrent *cough*

Theyre good enough. Any company that makes me pay for the software every year are the biggest scammers in the game. The problem is that she needs more immediate threat detection. Not just programs that scan for them after the fact..

So get Norton free then like me. I agree its a rip off that they make you pay each year.

People say that Norton is a resource hog but I found that zone alarm actually uses more CPU than Norton. The only time NIS is resource heavy is when you start up your PC.
