my computer keep ****ing restarting itself, and it's pissing me off!

Do you have alot of things plugged into your pc. I had some thing called minidump, it was a file that made my pc restart randomely.

Have you tried cleaning the fans? You might want to check how much ram your pc has been using lately.

512mb. and i just changed the fans. could it be that they aren't strong enough.

How many programs do you have running at startup? I remember that was a problem for me once. Killed everything I didnt need and it worked again

Yeah definately, or maybe you might have put them in backwards.

the only thing i have on there is itunes and my music.

You sure thats all? Because many programs will be programmed to run at startup (AIM, Printer programs, Limewire) without your knowledge. Unless you have a program like spysweeper that alerts you and lets you stop em.

I use a program called StartupFaster 2004 for that. I can manage all the programs that startup, and remove ones I DON'T want to. Try that MM and see if it set to run at startup.

random restarts can be from overheating... fans these days arent good for computers. You gotta get liquid cooling systems otherwise youll always have that problem.

Another thing is sometimes hardware can become damaged and still be functional but cause restarts and ****...
