I don't know what you're being told about the US, but censorship and no freedom of speech is communism. We have no such thing. The US is a democracy, and no one is "censored" like you seem to believe. All opinions are shown and reported by the media and whatnot. No censroship whatsoever. People have protest rallies every day. They don't get "censored".
Protests get shut down all the time often because of "disturbing the peace" charges... Theres so many different laws and technicalities in this country that everything that is considered free can be censorsed in a different shape...
At least thats what ive noticed...
