Complexity wise I can't tell. GIMP is easier in a way since well it's free and piracy isn't an issue. PS if you try pirating it is a bit harder(especially with a 56k especially so). GIMP is bad resizing images. And to save animations they won't make it easy by downing the quality. So go with PS.

get the internet exporer add on, allows you to see sites with firefox as you see tham in internet exploer...
