I was reading the "WiFi Dongle" thread, and it made me wander... Who the hell coined the term "Dongle"???

Such an odd word... It sounds darogatory if used the right/wrong way ;)...

I.E. "I just got kicked in the Dongle", or "Beeotch!!! Suck my Dongle!!!"

No, this account wasn't working a few months ago, so I had to make a temporary one. I was trying to log into my second gmail account, and logged in here too.

i found some screen shots for halo when it was being developed for mac
strange thing is that alot of these pics have a lot of spartans in it...hmmm. could it be that the original for mac was going to take place before the xbox one!? all of the spartans around are making me belive it was the battle of reach? i dk

The Battle of Reach didn't take place on a Halo ring. It was about Halo from the very start. Hence the name.

Im pretty sure that was the early stages of Halo..When they were first brain storming and testing it out..
I saw a movie somewhere where these guys are talking while differnt evolutions of the game come up..

It was very strange..Im glad it turned out to how it is now..Im goingt to do a search on it on Limewire :)

strange when i play halo 2 online no matter what gametype i play it always goes to the same maps over and over .(mostly maps that were the downloadable content)
for once when i play a match i wish it would go somewhere like containment,coagulation,b eaver creek or any of the other 21 maps in the game!

Its rare that i ever get Zanzibar,Midship,Beaver Creek,and alot of the other maps.

Its a shame really, because they are supposed to be added content that gets "randomly" selected..Not shoved down our throats!

First of all, the reason it didn't come out on Mac is because Microsoft saw potential in Bungie and aquired them to make games for their upcoming Xbox. Bungie had already been developing for Mac for quite a few years. Second, it was not supposed to be a real time strategy game, it was originally supposed to be a third person shooter.

Edit: Now that I think of it, there's a little bit of truth about the RTS part, but not really. They (Bungie) originally put a few character models and such in Myth to see what it looked like, but it was always a shooter.

Edit2: Why did you quote Zx30, he merely said that it was the beginning stages of Halo, there was nothing wrong with his post.
